BREATHWORK
What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a catch-all term for manipulating the breath. If you’ve ever intentionally held your breath or taken a long, slow, deep breath, you’ve done breathwork. I’m trained to facilitate active breathwork — an intentional, rhythmic breathing technique designed to support emotional release, heighten mental clarity, and support the physical body.
Some science — active breathwork limits oxygen flow by rinsing the body of CO2. Consequently, our brain temporarily gets 40% less blood flow. With limited resources, our prefrontal cortex hops offline, giving us space from our inner critic, our cyclical narrations, our rational protective minds, and our ego. But it’s something more, too. It guides us to other parts of ourselves — parts we’ve long buried. It opens up the void. It takes us home, unraveling our connection to Self and uncovering what we lost along the way.
Why Breathwork?
As someone who doesn’t love losing control (anyone with me here??) I was resistant to breathwork. It hovered in the corners of my consciousness as I pushed it away. Eventually, I softened into the practice and the practice softened me. As my fear melted, so too did my self-doubt. As I made space for release, clarity came knocking. As I released, I found more of myself.
While there are many vehicles for healing, active breathwork is a powerful, state-shifting practice. It creates the physiological capacity to move stuck energy, release tension, and unlock emotional blockages. As a therapist, I believe breathwork can be a nourishing standalone practice as well as a supplemental ritual to 1:1 therapy or other healing work.

01. One-on-One Sessions
A 75-minute breathwork session to dive deep. We’ll start with an intention setting and a gentle exploration before settling into breath. We’ll move through 30-40 minutes of active breathwork, staying with whatever arises. We’ll finish the practice with 15-minute of re-integration, followed by 10 minutes of optional processing.
Breathwork is different for everyone — how we unravel, and the process is like a fingerprint, uniquely yours.
Breathwork is both a nourishing stand-alone practice and a supplemental ritual to support 1:1 therapy or other healing work.
We will discuss any medical conditions you have and whether active breathwork is a good fit for you. Active breathwork is not recommended if you’re pregnant or have a heart condition. If you’ve never done breathwork before, the first session will be up to 90 minutes at no extra cost.
Individual Session: $125
Pack of Five Sessions: $500
